SADC Schools Quiz

What a great season it was for the quiz club as they won not just nationally but also made it on the regional stage. The quiz club which is mentored by Mrs Mutereko, once again made us all proud as they came out second in the 2017 SADC High Schools Quiz Competition with just a few points gap between us and the winners. Nevertheless it was a great achievement and the club is encouraged to keep on working hard in the coming season.

ADS Prize Giving Day

It was yet another day to remember as our Auto-Desk students continued to raise our St Ignatius school flag high. The Auto-Desk team captained by Tamuda Chimhanda and mentored by Mrs Mugadza were the talk of the town as they came out second to Gateway School in this year's ADS Prize Giving Ceremony held at Prince Edward School on the 2nd of December 2017. Individual efforts were also recognised which saw Tamuda Chimhanda(captain) and colleagues collecting individual prizes for their outstanding performances in this year's competition. The ceremony also included presentations by every school where students would demonstrate on the importance and application of Auto-Desk in modern day society as shown in pictures below. In an interview with one of the team members he said " Audto-Desk can be used in various disciplines which include architecture, engineering, construction, manufacturing, media, and entertainment industries making it a very essential part of most organisations for better and more accurate solutions."
